Το σενάριο εκτυλίσσεται στην πόλη Fairhaven όπου οι οδηγοί αγώνων έχουν να αντιμετωπίσουν εκτός από τους αντιπάλους τους και το μένος της αμείλικτης αστυνομίας προσθέτοντας έναν ακόμα βαθμό δυσκολίας. Ο νέος τίτλος αποτελεί την υπέρτατη πρόκληση αφού είναι η απεικόνιση της δύναμης, της επιθετικότητας, του ανταγωνισμού για τους λάτρεις της ταχύτητας. Γι' αυτό όσοι πιστεύουν πως διαθέτουν τις οδηγικές ικανότητες έφτασε η ώρα που τα λόγια πρέπει να μετατραπούν σε πράξη. Οι λεπτοί χειρισμοί και οι αποφάσεις που πρέπει να παρθούν σε κλάσματα του δευτερόλεπτου μπορούν να κρίνουν την επιτυχία από την αποτυχία. Το Need For Speed: Most Wanted είναι διαθέσιμο για προπαραγγελία ενώ η επίσημη διάθεση αναμένεται στις αρχές Νοέμβρη του τρέχοντος έτους για τα PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 και αργότερα για το Wii U με τιμή λιανικής τα 49.99$.
