Κατά τα λεγόμενα του Oliver "Ollie" Baltuch, προέδρου της Futuremark Corporation, η εταιρεία αποφάσισε να καθυστερήσει λίγο την κυκλοφορία του PCMark 7 προκειμένου να κάνει κάποια τελευταία tweaks για να διαβεβαιώσει την βραχώδη σταθερότητα και το σταθερό performance του. Λογικά, το μόνο λειτουργικό που θα τρέχει το PCMark 7 θα είναι τα Windows 7, εξού και το υπερπλήρες system optimization που έκαναν πάνω στο συγκεκριμένο OS. Το benchmark αποτελείται από 25 sub-tests που χωρίζονται σε 7 μεγαλύτερα tests: PCMark Test measures overall system performance and returns an official PCMark score Computation test focuses on computation performance of the system (CPU, GPGPU) Creativity Test measures performance in creativity scenarios involving images and video Entertainment Test measures system performance in entertainment, media and gaming scenarios Lightweight Test measures the capabilities of entry level systems unable to run the full PCMark test Productivity Test measures system performance scenarios using the Internet and office applications Storage test isolates the performance of the PC's storage tests [img_ALT=PCMark 7: Αύριο κυκλοφορεί το καινούριο benchmark της Futuremark] http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/4614dca97101eca6.jpg[/img_ALT] Διαβάστε περισσότερα εδώ...
