Η ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας ανακοινώθηκε από τη Sega, και αυτή τη φορά πρόκειται για worldwide release την Τρίτη, 3 Σεπτεμβρίου 2013. Αυτό όμως δεν σημαίνει ότι θα πρέπει να περιμένετε μέχρι τότε για την αγορά, καθώς οι προπαραγγελίες έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει και όχι χωρίς το κλασικό δωράκι για τους ανυπόμονους. Το pre-order bonus, αποτελείται από το Greek States Culture Pack DLC, το οποίο προσθέτει 3 νέες παρατάξεις για να διαλέξουμε, Αθήνα, Σπάρτη και Ήπειρο, κάθεμία με τα δικά τις κτίρια, αποστολές, win conditions και tech trees.

Για όσους θέλουν να πάνε ένα βήμα παραπέρα, ίσως το Collector's Edition να είναι η κατάλληλη επιλογή. Με 110£, λοιπόν, μπορείτε να αποκτήσετε ένα από τα 22.000 κομμάτια, καθένα από τα οποία είναι μάλιστα αριθμημένα με τον αντίστοιχο λατινικό αριθμό.Τι μπορεί όμως να περιέχει, εκτός από το ίδιο το game που να το κάνει τόσο ξεχωριστό και ακριβό; Για να πειστείτε διαβάστε παρακάτω τα περιεχόμενα(spoiler: δεν θα λέγατε όχι στο δικό σας καταπέλτη):

Tabula set
