Πηγαίνοντας λίγα χρόνια πίσω, παρατηρούμε πως αυτό το εξωτικό για την εποχή εξάρτημα, έχει γίνει πλέον mainstream. Ο κύριος λόγος της διάδοσης των Solid State Drives είναι αρχικά οι επιδόσεις. Με επιδόσεις που πολλές φορές ξεπερνούν αυτές των μηχανικών δίσκων κατά 50 φορές, όχι μόνο στη θεωρία αλλά και στην πράξη, δεν χρειάστηκε κάτι άλλο για να κερδηθεί η αγορά των enthusiast χρηστών. Δεν ήταν όμως αυτός ο μοναδικός λόγος που πλέον κάθε pc φέρει και ένα solid state drive. Η χαμηλή κατανάλωση, οι αντικραδασμικές ιδιότητες αλλά και το κόστος κτήσης που συνεχώς χαμηλώνει, συνέβαλαν όλα μαζί στο να διαδοθούν ακόμα πιο γρήγορα τα drives νέας γενιάς. Τον προηγούμενο μήνα λοιπόν δοκιμάσαμε τον OCZ Vertex 3.20 240GB εδώ! Από λοιπές εφαρμογές, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, VLC, Chrome, Firefox, LibreOffice και κανένα Unreal Tournament! Καλή επιτυχία σε όλους!
