    NVIDIA's GeForce Graphics Plus Power Pack 2 available

Έτσι , ενώ στο πρώτο Powerpack υπήρχε απλά μία trial έκδοση του Badaboom (η οποία υπάρχει και σε αυτή την έκδοση), στο συγκεκριμένο υπάρχουν και trial εκδόσεις των Power Director 7 και TMPGENC Express, που εκμεταλλεύονται την επεξεργαστική ισχύ των GeForce!

    Στο Powerpack 2 μεταξύ άλλων περιέχονται:

    # Warmonger (2 new levels: Tombstone and Asylum)

    # Crazy Machines 2 (puzzle game with PhysX)

    # Dark Basic Fluids Demo

    # Dark Basic PhysX Soft Body Demo

    Προκειμένου να ενεργοποιηθούν τα CUDA & PhysX θα πρέπει να έχετε μία κάρτα GeForce GPU Series-8 και πάνω και να τρέχετε τον driver v178.24 ή κάποια μεταγενέστερη έκδοση.

    Το MSNBC πραγματοποιεί online δημοψήφισμα για το κατά πόσον θα πρέπει ή όχι να

    αναγνωρισθεί η γενοκτονία των Αρμενίων. Οι Τούρκοι χρήστες έχουν κινητοποιηθεί

    άκρως αποτελεσματικά αφού τα μέχρι στιγμής αποτελέσματα είναι 23% υπέρ της

    αναγνώρισης και 76% κατά. Ψηφίστε «ναι» στην αναγνώριση της γενοκτονίας των

    αρμενίων εδώ.

    Κατασκευασμένοι από την ADDA για λογαριασμό της Thermalright, κάνουν χρήση της τεχνολογίας Fluid Dynamic Bearing. Συνολικά θα κυκλοφορήσουν τέσσερα μοντέλα (όλα 120x120x25mm), με μέσο χρόνο λειτουργίας 60.000 ωρών και εγγύηση τριών ετών, ενώ η τιμή κυμαίνεται στα $12.99.

    UFO V51 CPU cooler από την GlacialTech

    [wrapleft]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/121492fbba9f26d3.jpg[/wrapleft]Με τα UFO V51 η GlacialTech εγκαινιάζει μία νέα σειρά ψηκτρών για επεξεργαστές. Το όνομα αυτής δεν αποτελεί μυστήριο καθώς προέρχεται από το σχήμα της ψήκτρας το οποίο προσομοιάζει σε A.T.I.A. (UFO)...

    Η νέα σειρά διαθέτει δύο μοντέλα, τις UFO 51 Silent και UFO 51 PWM.

    Οι ψήκτρες εξασφαλίζουν συμβατότητα με Intel LGA 775, LGA1366 (i7) και AMD (754/939/940/AM2/F) socket.

    Στον πίνακα που ακολουθεί μπορείτε να δείτε συγκεντρωτικά τα χαρακτηριστικά των UFO V51:

    DDR3-1600 Triple Channel Kits by Aeneon

    Οι μνήμες αυτές τρέχουν στα DDR3-1600, με σχετικά αργούς χρονισμούς (CL9), απαιτώντας τα standard 1.5V που έχει ορίσει ο JEDEC.

    Η τιμή τους δεν έχει γίνει ακόμα γνωστή ενώ θα κυκλοφορήσουν σε 3GB & 6GB kits.

    ASUS Premium Service (APS) program

    [wrapleft]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/547c429f944693.jpg[/wrapleft]Η δεύτερη είδηση που μας έρχεται σήμερα από την ASUS δεν έχει να κάνει με κάποιο νέο προϊόν αλλά με το ... service.

    Συγκεκριμένα η ASUS ανακοίνωσε το ASUS Premium Service (APS) program, το οποίο αφορά σε συγκεκριμένες μητρικές (της σειράς R.O.G. αλλά και τις P6T Deluxe/P6T Deluxe OC Palm). Σύμφωνα με αυτό το πρόγραμμα οι κάτοχοι των συγκεκριμένων μητρικών μπορούν να αποστέλουν τις μητρικές δωρεάν προς RMA αλλά και θα τυγχάνουν ταχύτερης αντιμετώπισης από το Service σε σχέση με άλλες μητρικές καθώς θα μπαίνουν σε προτεραιότητα.

    Αναλυτικότερα οι μητρικές που εντάσσονται στο APS program είναι οι: CROSSHAIR II FORMULA, MAXIMUS II FORMULA, RAMPAGE FORMULA, RAMPAGE EXTREME, RAMPAGE II EXTREME, STRIKER II NSE, STRIKER II EXTREME, and STRIKER II FORMULA, καθώς και οι P6T όπως αναφέραμε πιο πάνω.
