[NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: Rosewill PC cases!]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/1354b7ee684ad7dc.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Η επόμενη στάση μας στην έκθεση της Computex 2012 έγινε στο booth της Rosewill. Το όνομα της εταιρείας μπορεί να είναι άγνωστο στο ελληνικό κοινό αλλά δεν μπορούμε να πούμε το ίδιο και για την άλλη άκρη του Ατλαντικού, στην οποία είναι ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλές και συνυφασμένο με ποιοτικές κατασκευές PC cases, PSUs και περιφερειακών για υπολογιστές. Στην έκθεση όμως επικεντρώθηκαν στην παρουσίαση high-end cases. Η εργονομία, οι άφθονοι προσφερόμενοι χώροι και η αξιοπιστία οδηγούν την εταιρεία τόσα χρόνια και θα συνεχίσουν σύμφωνα με τα όσα είδαμε. Περιορισμένος ο αριθμός δειγμάτων που είχαμε την ευκαιρία να δούμε, με τα Throne, Patriot και BlackHawk Ultra να συγκεντρώνουν το ενδιαφέρον δείχνοντας ότι η Rosewill είναι μια εταιρεία που πρόκειται να μας απασχολήσει και στο μέλλον. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: Tt by Thermaltake Booth!]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/1354e0ec42058e9a.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Η Thermaltake απέδειξε για ακόμα μία φορά πόσο μεγάλη εταιρεία είναι, όχι μόνο είχε ένα από τα πληρέστερα booths της φετινής Computex 2012, με προϊόντα που μαγνητίζουν τα βλέμματα του κόσμου, αλλά είχε και πάμπολλους επισκέπτες προκειμένου να υποστηρίξει τα προϊόντα της. Σαφής ο gaming προσανατολισμός με PC cases όπως το ARMOR REVO, LEVEL 10 GT και Chaser MK-I. Φυσικά δεν θα μπορούσαν να λείπουν τα ποιοτικά τροφοδοτικά με τα φώτα να πέφτουν πάνω στο νέο PSU ToughPower XT Platinum 1275W αλλά και τα περιφερειακά, με το mouse Level 10M να κλέβει τις εντυπώσεις. Επιπλέον συναντήσαμε και τις υλοποιήσεις της εταιρείας στον τομέα της ψύξης με γνωστά cpu coolers αλλά και προτάσεις από ολοκληρωμένα κυκλώματα υδρόψυξης (Thermaltake Water 2.0 series). [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: Η πρώτη μητρική με 40-phase PWM από την ASUS!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/asus.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Μετά από αρκετές ώρες περιπλανήσεων κατά την δεύτερη μέρα στην έκθεση της Computex 2012, αυτό που μπορούμε να πούμε με βεβαιότητα πως αποτέλεσε attraction της έκθεσης ήταν μια νέα μητρική από την ASUS, oπου στην περίπτωση που δοθεί το πράσινο φως να πάρει τον δρόμο της για την γραμμή παραγωγής πρόκειται να αποτελέσει το νέο flagship του socket LGA1155. Σίγουρα θα σκέπτεστε τι τεχνολογίες και τι καλούδια μπορεί να ενσωματώνει όμως το μοναδικό στοιχείο που γνωρίζουμε προς το παρόν και που την κάνει να ξεχωρίζει είναι το βαρυφορτωμένο ηλεκτρικό κύκλωμα, το οποίο και περιλαμβάνει 40 φάσεις τροφοδοσίας. Οι συνειρμοί και τα υποθετικά σενάρια που ήδη έχετε αρχίσει να φτιάχνετε ελπίζουμε να πάρουν σάρκα και οστά γρήγορα. Στόχος φυσικά παραμένει η σταθερότητα και η αξιοπιστία της μητρική ακόμα και σε extreme καταστάσεις για τους overclockers, όπου η χρήση υγρού αζώτου μοιάζει μονόδρομος. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: Zotac Booth γεμάτο εκπλήξεις!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/zotac.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Η εταιρεία ZOTAC είναι γνωστή από τις λιλιπούτιες μητρικές, τις κορυφαίες κάρτες γραφικών αλλά και από την πληθώρα mini PCs. Έτσι δεν θα μπορούσε παρά να έχει μια πληθωρική παρουσία στην διεθνή έκθεση της Computex 2012 με τις νέες mini-itx μητρικές όπως η H67-ITX WIFI και Z77-ITX WIFI, οι οποίες είναι έτοιμες να φιλοξενήσουν την νέα γενιά επεξεργαστών της Intel με την κωδική ονομασία Ivy Bridge αλλά με τις νέες factory overclocked κάρτες Zotac GeForce GTX 670 AMP και GeForce GTX 680 AMP, που βασίζονται στον πυρήνα Kepler GK104. Η φιλοσοφία της εταιρείας ακολουθεί το ρητό "Small Size, Big Performance" και αυτό μετουσιώθηκε στην πράξη με την συνεργασία μιας mini-itx μητρικής με την κορυφαία κάρτα γραφικών GeForce GTX 690 δείχνοντας το μέλλον στον τομέα του gaming χωρίς θυσίες στις επιδόσεις. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH Z77- Με πιο military style!]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/4614e00a1d755f54.png[/NEWS_IMG]Η ASUS στην έκθεση της Computex 2012 παρουσίασε την γνωστή μητρική της οικογένειας TUF series, ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH Z77, σε μια διαφορετική παραλλαγή, για την ακρίβεια στρατιωτική. Η νέα μητρική με το "Thermal Armour" έκανε την τεχνολογική τομή σε σχέση με ότι γνωρίζαμε μέχρι σήμερα όμως με το νέο military σχεδιασμό ολοκληρώνεται το πακέτο που πλέον μπορεί να χτυπήσει με υπερηφάνεια την πόρτα της gaming κοινότητας κλείνοντας το μάτι ιδιαίτερα στους λάτρεις των FPS games. Τα λόγια και οι περιγραφές σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις είναι πολύ φτωχά μπροστά στο πλούσιο φωτογραφικό υλικό. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: NZXT Booth!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/nzxt.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Η εταιρεία NZXT θεώρησε σπουδαία ευκαιρία την έκθεση της Computex 2012 ώστε να παρουσιάσει τις δίκες δημιουργίες, θέλοντας να αποσπάσει την προσοχή του κοινού και να δηλώσει δυναμικά την παρουσία της στην αγορά. Για αυτό τον λόγο επιστρατεύτηκαν τα γνωστά PC cases Aperture M, Switch 810 και Phantom 410 αλλά και υλοποιήσεις τόσο στον τομέα της ψύξης επεξεργαστών και laptops με τις ψύκτρες Havic 120, Havic 140 και Cryo V600 αντίστοιχα. Επιπλέον να αναφέρουμε την επαφή με ένα RGP Led Controller που μας άφησε θετικές εντυπώσεις. Ακολουθούν φωτογραφίες αφού όπως λέει και η λαϊκή ρήση τα καλύτερα έπονται. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: MSI Booth!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/msi.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Η δεύτερη μέρα στην διεθνής έκθεση της Computex 2012 είχε πολύ τρέξιμο ώστε να μπορέσουμε να σας μεταφέρουμε όσα περισσότερα μπορούμε, βάζοντας μέσα στο κλίμα της τεχνολογίας κυριολεκτικά. Περνώντας και από το περίπτερο της MSI δεν θα μπορούσαμε να μην τιμήσουμε μια από τις μεγαλύτερες εταιρείες στην κατασκευή μητρικών. Πολλές νέες μητρικές τόσο για Intel επεξεργαστές όσο και για AMD με ενσωματωμένα πλέον Military Class III εξαρτήματα στρατιωτικής κλάσης για βραχώδη σταθερότητα σε συνθήκες extreme overclocking. Ωστόσο οι μητρικές που συγκέντρωσαν τα φλας των φωτογραφικών φακών ήταν η κορυφαία MSI BIG BANG-XPOWER II και X79 MPOWER για το socket LGA2011 ενώ για το chipset Z77 παρουσιάστηκε η επερχόμενη Z77 MPOWER. Φυσικά δεν θα μπορούσαν να απουσιάζουν και οι φρέσκιες προτάσεις της εταιρείας για το νέο socket της AMD, FM2, με τις A85MA-E35, A55M-P33 και A85IA-E53. Έχοντας μια εμπειρία 20 χρόνων στην σχεδίαση και κατασκευή κουτιών, το μόνο που έχουμε να πούμε έιναι πώς σίγουρα ξέρει τις ανάγκες μας και δημιουργεί προϊόντα κάθε φορά και καλύτερα, με πολλές καινοτομίες που κάνουν την ζωή μας ευκολότερη. Χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα των προϊόντων της Lian Li είναι πώς στην πλειοψηφία τους είναι κατασκευασμένα απο αλουμίνιο και εξωτερικά έχουν όλα hair-line brush look ενώ έχουν υποστεί ανοδίωση. Μέτα απο αυτον τον προλογο ακολουθουν αρκετες φωτογραφιες απο το booth της Lian Li στην Computex 2012 που μας άφησε τις θετικότερες εντυπώσεις. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: ASRock Z77 OC Formula pictured!]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/1354e0b60e345226.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Αδιαμφισβήτητα, το διαμάντι αλλά και η υλοποίηση που μονοπώλησε το ενδιαφέρον στο booth της ASRock δεν ήταν άλλο παρά η νέα μητρική της εταιρείας, που βασίζεται στο chipset Z77 με την ονομασία ASRock Z77 OC Formula. Σίγουρα κάτι σας θυμίζει το όνομα και φυσικά δεν είναι τυχαίο. Η Ταϊβανέζικη εταιρεία επέλεξε την Computex 2012 για να παρουσιάσει για πρώτη φορά την εν λόγω μητρική, η οποία είχε ιδιαίτερα μεγάλη απήχηση. Για να μην σας κρατάμε σε αγωνιά ας πάμε να αναφέρουμε εν τάχει τα χαρακτηριστικά της ώστε να πάρετε μια πρώτη γεύση. Ξεκινώντας να αναφέρουμε ότι PCB ενσωματώνει υψηλής ποιότητας capasitors και MOSFETs ενώ ο επεξεργαστής θα τροφοδοτείται από 12-phase κύκλωμα DigiPower VRM δείχνοντας ξεκάθαρα τον overclocking προσανατολισμό του. Ήδη ο γνωστός overclocker NickShih καταφερε να παρει την πρωτη θεση με τις επιδοσεις του στο Super PI 1M, το Super PI 32M Test, το 3DMark06 Score και το Hexus PiFast σε συνεργασία με τον Ivy Bridge i7 3770K. Στα θετικά στοιχειά να συμπληρώσουμε την ύπαρξη ενός 40mm fan για active cooling του VRM. Η μητρικη διαθέτει επισης τέσσερα DDR3-3000MHz slots υποστηρίζοντας dual-channel. Τα expansion slots περιλαμβάνουν δύο PCI-Express x16 3.0 (x8/x8), ένα PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (x4, συνδεδεμένο με το PCH) και δυο PCI-Express 2.0 x1. Στο τομέα της συνδεσιμότητας θα προσφέρει έξι SATA 6Gb/s θύρες και τέσσερις SATA 3Gb/s καθώς και αρκετές θύρες USB 3.0. Ο μακροσκελής κατάλογος των χαρακτηριστικών δεν τελειώνει όμως εδώ αφού θα εφοδιάζεται με μια μόνο έξοδο σήματος ήχου και εικόνας HDMI, 8-channel Audio HD και Gigabit Ethernet. Τέλος να μην ξεχάσουμε να αναφέρουμε ότι η ASRock Z77 OC Formula θα πλήρως συμβατή με τις τεχνολογίες XFast 555, NVIDIA SLI, AMD CrossFire, LucidLogix VirtuMVP, RapidStart και SmartConnect. Τα μόνα σκοτεινά σημεία πλέον είναι η τιμή λιανικής πώλησης και η ακριβής ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας της. Έτσι η εταιρεία επικεντρώθηκε στην προώθηση νέων Ultrabooks που ενσωματώνουν προϊόντα της, διαθέτοντας μεγάλη ισχύ όπου σε συνδυασμό με τα Intel HD graphics και τις εκπληκτικές Led οθόνες περιορίζουν την κατανάλωση στο ελάχιστο αυξάνοντας την αυτονομία. Αν στα παραπάνω προστεθεί και η λεπτή σχεδίαση έχουμε ένα πακέτο το οποίο πρόκειται να αποτελέσει έναν πιστό "συνεργάτη" στην καθημερινότητα μας. Αυτό σκεπτικό έχει υιοθετήσει και η Intel, θεωρώντας πως το μέλλον στους φορητούς υπολογιστές είναι τα Ultrabooks. Το booth της εταιρείας ήταν φτωχότερο από ότι περιμέναμε, με λιγοστά προϊόντα που ανάμεσα τους διακρίναμε την high-end vga, Galaxy GTX 570 και την low-end Galaxy GT 610. Όμως για την ισορροπία των πραγμάτων φιλοξένησε ένα overclocking show με συμμετέχοντες δυο γνωστούς overclockers, τον DUCK και τον SAN, οι οποίοι είχαν στην διάθεση τους πολλά λύτρα υγρό άζωτο με μοναδικό σκοπό να παρουσιάσουν την αύξηση στον τομέα των επιδόσεων με προϊόντα της εταιρείας σε ακραίες συνθήκες προς τέρψη των επισκεπτών. Η παρουσία στην Computex 2012 δείχνει την ανοδική της πορεία με υλοποιήσεις που διαθέτουν προσεγμένο σχεδιασμό και είναι έτοιμες να προσφέρουν στους gamers και τους λάτρεις της τεχνολογίας, την λειτουργικότητα, τα επίπεδα θορύβου αλλά και την όψη high-end θηκών αλουμινίου σε λογικές τιμές. Κυρίαρχη θέση είχαν τα προϊόντα της οικογένειας Ice series από μαύρο, ανοδιωμένο αλουμίνιο και με άφθονους χώρους ακόμα και για high-end κάρτες γραφικών, η οποία απαρτίζεται από τα mini-ICE, Micro-ICE, ATX-ICE και EATX-ICE. Θετική εντύπωση μας άφησε επίσης το Cubitek M4 αλλά και Cubitek Tattoo, το οποίο υπήρχε σε διάφορες αποχρώσεις δείχνοντας τον gaming προσανατολισμό του. Πιο συγκεκριμένα έκαναν την εμφάνιση τους όλες οι "φρέσκιες" μητρικές που είναι βασισμένες επάνω στο Z77 chipset όπως η ΤΖ77ΧE4, HI-FI Z77S, HI-FI Z77W, TZ77A, TZ75B και η HI-FI Z77X. Φυσικά δεν έλειψαν και υλοποιήσεις για το κορυφαίο socket LGA2011 με την TPROWER X79 αλλά για το επερχόμενο socket FM2 της AMD με την HI-FI A85E. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: AMD Booth!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/amd.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Το booth της AMD στην Computex 2012, παρόλο που ήταν πλήρες δεν συναντήσαμε κάποια καινούργια τεχνολογία εκτός από τα πολυάριθμα laptops και ultrabooks που θα βασίζονται στα νέα APUs με την κωδική ονομασία Trinity και Brazos 2.0 όπως και πολλές υλοποιήσεις από κάρτες γραφικών και μητρικών από γνωστούς κατασκευαστές, που βασίζονται στα προϊόντα της εταιρείας. Αυτό που μας κέντρισε τον ενδιαφέρον ήταν τα case της CM STORM και της Lian Li με το λογότυπο της AMD. Τον δικό της χώρο είχε και νέα τεχνολογία Eyefinity, που ενσωματώνεται στις νέες κάρτες γραφικών της εταιρείας που ανήκουν στην οικογένεια “South Island” (Radeon HD 7900 series, HD 7800 series και HD 7700series) ώστε να μπορούν να εκμεταλλευτούν στο έπακρο τις επιπλέον εξόδους σήματος με αποτέλεσμα να μεγαλώνει η επιφάνεια εργασίας μας, προσφέροντας μας ανεπανάληπτη gaming εμπειρία. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: Akasa Booth!]http://reviews.hwbox.gr/news/akasa.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Καιρό είχαμε να δούμε την Akasa στον γνώριμο ρόλο της, που δεν είναι άλλος από την κατασκευή ποιοτικών PC cases, τροφοδοτικών αλλά και αρκετών υλοποιήσεων για την άψογη ψύξη. Έτσι στο περίπτερο της εταιρείας στην Computex 2012, βρήκαμε την ευκαιρία να έρθουμε σε επαφή με όλα τα νεότερα προϊόντα αλλά και να συναντήσουμε τις διαχρονικές αλλά σταθερές αξίες της Akasa. Περίοπτη θέση κατείχαν τα γνωστά cpu coolers Akasa Venom, Venom Medusa και Venom Voodoo καθώς και οι ανεμιστήρες Akasa Viper, Viper R και Piranha. Φυσικά δεν έλειψαν τα τροφοδοτικά από τις σειρές Venom Power και Venom Power XT καθώς τα high-end cases με τα φωτά να πέφτουν στο Venom Toxic. Τα νέα PSUs έρχονται με σύγχρονους σχεδιασμούς και σε διάφορους χρωματισμούς κάνοντας εμφανές τον Gaming προσανατολισμό τους. Με εφόδια τα high efficiencies, την σταθερή και αξιόπιστη λειτουργία τους δείχνουν έχουν όλα τα εχέγγυα για ένα ακόμα καλύτερο μέλλον. Τα νέα drives της γνωστής εταιρίας έρχονται σε χωρητικότητες των 120 GB και 240 GB, ενώ θα υπάρξει έκδοση των 480 GB μόνο για τον Neutron GTX, και ενσωματώνουν τον controller LM87800 (6Gb/s) της εταιρίας Link_A_Media Devices (LAMD). Το Neutron SSD κάνει χρήση Micron ONFI NAND flash και σύμφωνα με την Corsair θα αποδίδει 90.000 random read IOPS - 85.000 random write IOPS και 555/370 MB/s read/write, ενώ τo γρηγορότερο Neutron GTX ενσωματώνει Toshiba Toggle-Mode NAND flash memory chips και αποδίδει 90.000 read/write IOPS και 555/500 MB/s read/write. Έρχονται με πενταετή εγγύηση καλής λειτουργίας και η τιμολογιακή πολιτική που θα ακολουθήσει η Corsair εκτιμάται ότι θα είναι όπως των Corsair Force GT και Performance PRO αντίστοιχα. Tο νέο σετ της γνωστής εταιρίας έρχεται σε δύο χρωματικούς συνδυασμούς - λευκό και κόκκινο, όπου το λευκό κιτ είναι ένα Quad channel DDR3 Kit με εργοστασιακή ταχύτητα 2.900MHz CL11, ενώ το κόκκινο kit είναι το αντίστοιχα Dual channel. Δυστυχώς δεν γνωρίζουμε την χωρητικότητα που θα έχουν τα δύο VELOCE kits, αλλά ελπίζουμε να δούμε 4 x 8GB 2.900MHz DDR3 modules. Πληρούν όλες νέες προδιαγραφές και είναι απολύτως συμβατά με τις Z77 και X79 Intel platforms. Επίσης, είναι κατάλληλα για κάθε high-end σύστημα προσφέροντας άπλετο bandwidth και φυσικά θα κοσμήσουν κάθε καλαίσθητο gaming chassis. Τέλος, η διαθεσιμότητα θα ξεκινήσει σε περίπου δύο εβδομάδες, αλλά δυστυχώς δεν γνωρίζουμε την τιμή εκκίνησης των Geil EVO VELOCE DDR3 RAM. Οι νέες αυτές μητρικές περιλαμβάνουν μοντέλα σαν το GS-R22PE, μια μητρική που προορίζεται για high end dual socket 2U συστήματα, προσφέρει υποστήριξη για δύο Xeon επεξεργαστές E5-2600 (LGA 2011) και έρχεται εξοπλισμένη με τέσσερις SATA 3Gbps, έξι SAS 6Gbps διπλά gigabit ethernet και το chip Aspeed AST2300 για απομακρισμένο έλεγχο. Συνεχίζουμε στην GS-R12P4E που και αυτή είναι για συστήματα με δύο επεξεργαστές μεγέθους 1U αλλά αυτή η μητρική δέχεται επεξεργαστές socket LGA 1356, δηλαδή Xeon E5-2400 family. Παρέχει το chip Aspeed AST2300 αλλά έρχεται μόνο με δύο SATA 6Gbps. Η GA-7PTSV είναι και αυτή μια μητρική με υποστήριξη LGA 1356 αλλά μισού μεγέθους. Η GS-R11U4S είναι μια LGA 1155 μητρική μεγέθους 1U για μικρές και μεσαίες επιχειρήσεις , υποστηρίζει Xeon E3-1200 V2, Aspeed AST2150 και PCI-express Gen3. Οι μητρικές MSQ77DI, MSB75DI, MNIC8QI είναι τρείς mini-ITX μητρικές, οι δύο πρώτες με υποστήριξη LGA 1155 και η τελευταία με Atom D525, προσφέρουν υποδοχές μνήμης SO-DIMM, Gigabit ethernet και άλλες ευκολίες. Οι μητρικές SCC45T και SCI25T απευθύνονται σε NAS συστήματα, η πρώτη με χρήση του Cavium ECONA CNS3420 επεξεργαστή και η δεύτερη με Atom D2500. Τέλος έχουμε μια πληθώρα μητρικών για κλασσικά κουτιά υπολογιστών, τις GA-6UASL3 (single socket LGA 1155), GA-6UASV3 (single socket LGA 1155), GA-6PXSV1 (single socket LGA 2011), GA-7PESH1 (dual socket LGA 2011), GA-7PESE4 (dual socket LGA 1356), GA-7PESL (dual socket LGA 1356) και GA-7PCSL (dual socket LGA 1356) με υποστήριξη τεχνολογιών όπως SATA 6Gbps, SATA 3Gbps, SAS 6Gbps, PCI-express Gen3 και Aspeed AST2300. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: ASUS ROG MARS III Dual GTX 680, νέα συλλεκτική κάρτα]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/1354de38dbc8ab8a.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Από ότι φαίνεται η ROG MATRIX 7970 δεν είναι η μόνη κάρτα της σειράς Republic of Gamers που παρουσιάστηκε στην Computex 2012, γιατί ακριβώς δίπλα της βρέθηκε μια MARS III. Αυτή η απίστευτη κάρτα είναι μια dual-GeForce GTX 680 με δύο 28 nm GK104 πυρήνες με συχνότητες ίδιες ή μεγαλύτερες της κανονικής GeForce GTX 680. Περισσότερα δεν ξέρουμε για τις συχνότητες γιατί η ASUS δεν αποκάλυψε κάτι παραπάνω. Η κάρτα δέχεται ρεύμα από τρείς υποδοχές των 8-pin, ενώ δίπλα ακριβώς υπάρχει διακόπτης που κάνει τους ανεμιστήρες να λειτουργούν αμέσως στο 100%. Οι έξοδοι εικόνας είναι τρείς dual-link DVI με δυνατότητα 3D Vision Surround σε τρείς οθόνες με αναλύσεις μεγαλύτερες των 1920x1200. Αντίθετα με την MATRIX 7970 καθώς και με άλλα μοντέλα της ASUS που χρησιμοποιεί triple-slot cooling στην MARS III η ψύξη με τους τρείς ανεμιστήρες καταλαμβάνει μόνο δύο υποδοχές. Η νέα MARS III θα κατασκευαστεί σε περιορισμένες ποσότητες και η τιμή της προβλέπεται να είναι υψηλότερη από την GeForce GTX 690. [NEWS_IMG=HwBox @ Computex 2012: EpicGear Booth!]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/1354b7eea4ceb174.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Περνώντας από πολυάριθμα περίπτερα στην έκθεση της Computex 2012, ο φακός μας έπεσε πάνω στην άγνωστη για πολλούς εταιρεία EpicGear, που θεωρείται από τις πιο καινοτόμες στην κατασκευή περιφερειακών για υπολογιστές με σαφείς gaming προσανατολισμούς. Αυτό που αποτέλεσε πόλο έλξης για τον περισσότερο κόσμο ήταν η εμφάνιση του πρώτου hybrid dual sensor mouse με την ονομασία EpicGear Medusa. Βέβαια η εταιρεία δεν συμβιβάστηκε μόνο με αυτό αφού μας παρουσίασε και την νέα σειρά SCORPIOS, που αποτελείται από mouses που συνδυάζουν αρμονικά την εργονομία και τον έξυπνο σχεδιασμό που ακολουθεί το όνομα τους. Ολοκληρώνοντας την περιήγηση μας, συναντήσαμε επίσης τις προτάσεις της εταιρείας για mouse pads αλλά και το νέο μηχανικό keyboard Dezimator, το οποίο υπόσχεται αξέχαστη gaming εμπειρία ενσωματώνοντας νέες τεχνολογίες. Τρία νέα λοιπόν περιφερειακά παρουσιάστηκαν στην Computex 2012 και περιλαμβάνουν την κάρτα ήχου Xonar Phoebus και τα ακουστικά Vulcan Pro και Orion. Η κάρτα ήχου Xonar Phoebus προσφέρει 118db SNR, έρχεται με επίχρυσες υποδοχές και έρχεται με την ROG Command Technology που μειώνει τον θόρυβο κατά 50%. Παράλληλα έρχεται με εξωτερικό ενισχυτή για ακουστικά και με την χρήση του Dolby Home Theater V4 και της GX 3.0 game audio engine προσφέρει ρεαλιστικό surround ήχο. Στα νέα ακουστικά βρίσκουμε το Vulcan Pro, μια αναβάθμιση του υπάρχοντος Vulcan ANC που χρησιμοποιεί ένα driver-free usb hardware DSP και το Orion, ένα πιο απλό σετ που χρησιμοποιεί μαγνήτες νεοδυμίου.
