[NEWS_IMG=H OCZ σταματά την διάθεση DRAMs με Elpida MNH-E Hyper ICs]http://www.hwbox.gr/images/imagehosting/4649d0abbb590bf.jpg[/NEWS_IMG]Μετά την απόφαση της Corsair να σταματήσει την διάθεση μνημών που χρησιμοποιούσαν Elpida MNH-E Hyper ICs, έρχεται η σειρά της OCZ, η οποία μερικές ώρες πριν με επίσημη ανακοίνωση έδωσε τέλος στις πωλήσεις OCZ Elpida Hyper DRAMs. Παρόλο που η ίδια η εταιρεία ισχυρίζεται ότι δεν παρατήρησε έξαψη του φαινομένου, παρά μόνο μεμονωμένα περιστατικά (λόγω του ότι έκανε χρήση των πρώτων-πρώτων Elpida Hyper batches), σταμάτησε την παραγωγή των kits που βασίζονταν στα κατ' εξακολούθησιν προβληματικά Elpida Hypers. Σαν να πήρε δηλαδή προληπτικά μέτρα προκειμένου να προλάβει τα χειρότερα. Ακολουθεί το επίσημο statement της OCZ Technology: In regards to the potential issues relating to Elpida Hyper IC's, OCZ has not yet seen extended failures in the field, and the Elipda Hyper IC's we have used came from earlier batches so we do not yet know if this is the reason why we are not seeing field issues but as a proactive measure based on the latest information from media reviewers like AnandTech we have officially held the use of any Elpida Hyper IC's at this time. Any customers that are seeing issues are encouraged to contact us and we will absolutely take care of all customers with a no questions asked refund or exchange for another OCZ product of equal value, whichever the customer prefers.
