ASROCK X79 EXTREME 9 + INTEL 3820 + G-skill F3-17000CL9Q won't boot at 2133MHZ!!!!!!!

Παιδια θα ηθελα την γνωμη σας και θα την ηθελα πολυ περισσοτερο απο τους ''ψαγμενους''.

Εχω στην κατοχη μου:

Case: Coolermaster HAF 922

CPU: Intel Core i7 3820 + μαμα ψυκτρα και ανεμιστηρα

Mobo: Asrock x79 extreme 9 (lga 2011)

Ram: G-skill F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH (4x4)

VGA: 2 X XFX 7970 Black Edition

Sound: Asrock Game blaster

HDD: Corsair SSD 60GB + 4 sataII

DVD: LG blu-ray

Psu: Coolermaster 1000 watt

System: Windows 8 Pro x64

Καταρχην 1ον πολυς θορυβος για το τιποτα. Μαλλον πρεπει να οφειλεται στον ανεμιστηρα της Intel. Πριν αναβαθμιστω ειχα Gigabyte X58A - UD5 και Intel Extreme edition 980X. Ολα τα υπολοιπα ιδια. Oι 2 καρτες γραφικων ηταν ''κολλημενες'' μεταξυ τους σε idle ηταν αθορυβο ενω σε full load ηταν αρκετα θορυβωδες.

Τωρα με το που παταω το power button ''ολοι στο ποδι'' απο την φασαρια. Ο ανεμιστηρας της CPU φυσαει σε τετοιο βαθμο που μαλλον μετατοπιζει το θορυβο και στο υπολοιπο κουτι.

2ον το πιο σημαντικο προβλημα εχει να κανει με τον χρονισμο στις μνημες. Διαβαστε παρακατω και θα καταλαβετε.

Hello,

I have an asrock X79 Extreme9. I have also bought from u a G-skill F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH(16GB=4x4GB ram kits).

I had 2.20 bios version and I upgraded to 2.30 (latest).

I have installed ram in dimm socket A1–B1-C1-D1 reading the manual. I have tried setting manually at 2166mhz and no boot.

I am trying using standard profile or xms profile 1 and 2. Its trying to boot turns off and then boot again turns off.

At 1866MHZ system is stable and won boot to windows.

ΑΠΑΝΤΗΣΗ ΑΠΟ G-SKILL

1) Please unplug your power cord from the electrical wall socket and remove the circular round battery on the motherboard. Wait 30 seconds, then put back the battery and reconnect your power cord. This will force your motherboard to reset all settings.

2) Next, try to boot into Windows without any changes to BIOS. If this is successful, please continue to the next step. If your system will not boot, please request an RMA replacement from us. Your memory slots seem to be correct with A1-B1-C1-D1 slots.

3) After that, go into BIOS and enable XMP Profile 1. Then save and quit. Do not change any other BIOS settings. See if this will let you boot into Windows. If you cannot boot into windows with XMP Profile 1, please continue to step 4.

4) Go into BIOS and choose to “reset to optimal defaults” (or press F9). Then go to OC Tweaker tab, and change the following:

DRAM Frequency = 2133Mhz

DRAM Voltage = 1.65V

CL Timing = 9-11-10-28 (tCL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS)

Command Rate = 2

And then save and quit (or press F10).

If you still cannot boot to Windows, please continue to step 5.

5) Go back into BIOS and use the same settings, except change DRAM frequency to 1866. You have said this setting will boot, so please use this setting to test the memory. Please use Windows Memory Diagnostic or Memtest86+ (memtest.org). If the memory testing software reports errors, please feel free to request an RMA replacement from us.

I tried these 4 steps and the problem is still exists after the final step of my memory test with memtest programm.

My memory pass this test succesfully.

It is very important to say something else. I have CPU Intel Core i7 3820. Maybe his controller is fault won't my memory work at 2133MHZ.

I would appreciated to slove my problem.

We believe that your CPU cannot support four modules at 2133Mhz. On Asrock X79 Extreme9, we have achieved 2133Mhz with 4GBx4 memory kits. However, we tested with the i7-3930K CPU, which has a better integrated memory controller than i7-3820.

Usually, on X79 chipset motherboards, a “K” version CPU has the best chance of running RAM at 2133Mhz or higher. If it is a non-“K” version CPU, the highest DRAM frequency is often 1866Mhz, and only 2133Mhz if you are lucky.

But there might be a chance that in future BIOS releases, Asrock may help the CPU improve support of 2133Mhz. We’ll just have to see.

We are sorry we were not able to help you to get your system running at 2133Mhz. However, because of your CPU, the system is limited to 1866Mhz. Despite this news, we are glad your system is stable and error-free at 1866Mhz.

Εγω παντως μπαινω στα windows κανονικα με τις εξης αλλαγες 42χ100 με 1.3v Vcore και τις μνημες στα 2133 με 1.65 και timmings 10-10-10-28 2T @1.65v . Και καμια σχεση οι μνημες οι δικες σου με τις δικες μου.

Μπορει να εχουμε το ιδιο chipset X79 αλλα ειναι αλλη η Gigabyte και αλλη η Asrock. Δηλαδη μου λες οτι εαν κανω overclock τον επεξεργαστη και θεσω σωστα τα timmings να δουλεψουν εν τελει στα 2133mHZ? Η G-skill ειδες τι μου απαντησε? Εχει να κανει λεει ενδεχομενως οτι ο 3820 δεν εχει τις ιδιες ανοχες με τον 3930Κ. Και αν τον κανω overcloked sta ''ψιλα'' εκει στα 4,2 με την μαμα ψυκτρα θα την παλεψει? Να τον παω auto sta 4,2? ή manual 42x100 ανεβαζοντας λιγο το ρευμα του. Και κατι αλλο μου εχει σπασει τα νευρα ο θορυβος........φταει η μαμα ανεμιστηρα + ψυκτρα και να βαλω αλλη? η απο αλλου εχει θεμα?

Και εγω με την μαμα ψυκτρα ειμαι και δεν εχω προβλημα με temps τοσο πολυ. Οκ οταν μπουν τα νερα θα ειναι καλυτερα αλλα και να ανεβασει λιγο σε κανενα game δεν τρεχει και τιποτα...

Εσυ που εχει την μαμα βασικα τον θορυβο πως τον αντεχεις κανει σαν τρακτερ η ατιμη, παρε μια ψυκτρα να γλιτωσεις λιγο απο τον θορυβο!

Για overclock το cpu δεν ξερω αλλα περασε με το χερι συχνοτητες και timmings σωστα και δεν θα εχεις προβλημα πιστευω.Εδω ανεβαζει τις δικες μου που ειναι πολυ πιο κατω απο τις δικες σου.

Βοηθεια τοσο πολυ δεν μπορω να σου δωσω γιατι το προηγουμενο pc μου ηταν s775 οποτε δεν το κατεχω και πολυ το θεμα.Το μονο που μπορω να σου πω ειναι οτι εχω κανει στο δικο μου και δουλευει.

Καλημερα.

Vas να εισαι καλα, εκτιμω το ενδιαφερον που εδειξες. Χτες με το που πηγα στο σπιτι περασα το latest beta bios L2.81....ολα δουλευουνε ρολοι. Οι μνημες επιτελους χρονισαν στα 2133MHZ. Οσο για τον θορυβο ενσωματωσαν μια επιλογη για silent....lvl1, lvl2, lv3 etc εως lvl9 και ετσι λυθηκε και το θεμα του θορυβου.

Ο administator μπορει να κλεισει το θεμα....
