Σύμφνωα με το άρθρο του techpowerup, το νέο Xpressar θα είνα ικανό να ρίξει τις θερμοκρασίες πολύ πιο κάτω απο κάθε σύστημα υδρόψυξης και θα μπορεί να ρίξει την θερμοκρασία σε κάθε κάρτα ακόμα και 20C πιο κάτω απο αυτές , καταλαμβάνοντας χόρο μόλις απο ένα 5.25" drive bay! Ο Dr. Gamal Refai-Ahmed, υπέυθυνος θερμικής αρχιτεκτονικής της AMD στις κάρτες γραφικών της AMD/ATi δήλωσε πως : The Thermaltake micro refrigeration cooling system makes sense both from a technology standpoint and from a need to continually introduce advances in computer cooling. By moving beyond the limits of air cooling, we potentially open up a whole new level of performance for graphics technology. Ο Kenny Lin, CEO της Thermaltake δήλωσε πώς : This kind of phase change cooling may not be headline news, but a DC inverter type compressor that comes in such a compact size will be a new experience for the overclocking community .With an Intelligent IC controller to solve condensation problems, we expect many enthusiasts to take advantage of our Xpressar micro refrigeration cooling system when building cutting-edge systems.
