RTM απλά σημαίνει ότι είναι Released To Manufacturing, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των OEMs. Η πραγματική public release θα γίνει κάποια στιγμή αργότερα.

Αν η Microsoft ακολουθήσει κατά γράμμα τo original language wave schedule του Vista SP1, τότε το πρώτο «κύμα» θα υποστηρίζει Αγγλικά, Γερμανικά, Ιαπωνικά, Γαλλικά και Ισπανικά, ενώ το δεύτερο «κύμα», Κινέζικα, Κορεάτικα και Πορτογαλικά.

Η RTM build του SP2, που προγραμματίστηκε αρχικά για τον Απρίλιο, δεν θα γίνει διαθέσιμη πριν τον Μάιο-Ιούνιο.

Το Vista SP2 release candidate escrow build ανακοινώνεται μες στην εβδομάδα, και όχι μες στον Φεβρουάριο. Έπειτα θα ακολουθήσει η final RC μεταξύ 16 και 23 Φεβρουαρίου. Να και ο σχετικός πίνακας.
