To EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) είναι μία μορφή βελτιωμένου BIOS από την Intel το οποίο υποστηρίζει γραφικά μενού, mouse-controlled interface, πολλαπλές γλώσσες, LAN activating environment και pre-boot applications.

Πληροφορίες από την Intel για το το EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface):

The EFI specification defines a model for the interface between operating systems and platform firmware. The interface consists of data tables that contain platform-related information, plus boot and runtime service calls that are available to the operating system and its loader. Together, these provide a standard environment for booting an operating system and running pre-boot applications.

585 FSB? Δεν είναι και άσχημο..

Αλλά αυτό πιστεύω ότι είναι δώρον-άδωρον.. Το BIOS δεν είναι για ομορφιά, αλλά για να κάνεις τη δουλειά σου (overclocking :-) ) Δύο λεπτά θα μπεις και θα βγεις, δεν είναι λειτουργικό.. Τι να την κάνω την ομορφιά?
