Αν και τον περασμένο Αύγουστο διέρρευσαν οι πρώτες φωτογραφίες του εντούτοις από τότε και μέχρι σήμερα δεν μάθαμε κάτι το αξιοσημείοτο. Το μόνο που ξέραμε είναι ότι θα κυκλοφορήσει ίσως τον Οκτώβριο ή τον Νοέμβριο. Σήμερα όμως κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο video που δείχνει το νέο λειτουργικό σύστημα της Google εν δράσει. Συγκεκριμένα αυτός που δημοσίευσε το video αγόρασε μια συσκευή Nexus S από το eBay ο οποίος ανακάλυψε ότι διέθετε μια build του Android 4.0. Αν αληθεύουν οι πληροφορίες αυτό σημαίνει ότι το τηλέφωνο βρισκόταν στα χέρια ενός εργαζόμενου της Google. Στο video βλέπουμε ότι πιέζοντας αρκετές φορές το κουμπί home προβάλλεται ένα κάθετο μενού επιλογών που μοιάζει αρκετά με το Android 3.0 για τα tablets. Υπάρχουν μάλιστα νέα Google App εικονίδια, που προσφέρουν πολλές νέες υπηρεσίες. Ας αφήσουμε τα λόγια όμως τώρα και ας περάσουμε στο video. Update: Our anonymous tipster has confirmed to us that shortly after we posted this video, his Nexus S was remotely locked and wiped. George_o/c Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Πο πο δεν υπάρχουν μερικοί For the sake of argument, I am willing to give Google the benefit of the doubt; HOWEVER, if it comes out that they DID access this guy's phone and wipe it without δικαίωμα then I don't know about you, but, personally, I am going to be calling for heads on platters. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the neither the FBI nor the police chose to get involved. After all, they've done NOTHING with regards to those Apple employees that impersonated police officers in an effort to retrieve that missing iPhone 5.I'm pretty sure though that the likes of the EFF are going to be MOST interested in what happened, and they DO carry sufficient weight to FORCE a criminal investigation of Google. This stands to be a PR sh1t storm for Google, and rightly so. I'm still just... incredulous at this. If you could see me, you'd know just how blown my mind is at their actions. I'm just... amazed that they thought that this was alright... As to whether or not it was a legit build of ICW: assuming that Google DID remote wipe the phone, then I think that we can safely assume that it WAS legit. After all, why would they wipe it if it weren't legit? And why wipe it of the cat's already out of the bag? Furthermore, assuming that the phone WAS wiped remotely, why in the world would they risk felony prosecution for wiretapping, possible B&E charges, PR backlash, and a lawsuit? Also, why would the poster risk a defamation suit from Google, by publicly stating that Google has done something so egregious, unless they ACTUALLY did? I suppose that he could be mistaken, but come on, folks: how likely is that? I mean, how often does an Android phone suddenly just do what this guy's did?
